QANTAS, between June and December 2004, your baggage handlers at Sydney International Airport imported over 65 million dollars worth of cocaine (200kg), into the country, using the bags of innocent airline passengers to do it. But when I spoke to your Head of Security (Steve Jackson), on the 9th of August 2010 (after he rang me at home), he told me none of them were arrested or charged - and said QANTAS wasn't "In the business of policing" (adding I could quote him on that). This fact is also confirmed in press articles, and in a formal QANTAS report. Further, Jackson didn't explain why QANTAS employed long term criminals like "Tom" and Easton Barrington James as baggage workers (though it's a matter of public record your former security manager, Tony Conwell, had connections to persons involved in organised crime). Here's some more background, for anyone interested in finding out just WHO is entrusted with their baggage - it's hair raising:

Because for as long as those with the responsibility for answering those questions refuse to face up to reality, over 40,000 QANTAS customers will see them every day . . .
