"My Story, penned by Corby and journalist Kathryn Bonella, has sold more than 100,000 copies since its release late last year."
Good morning Australian establishment (or should I say "Crime Inc"?) - WAKEY WAKEY !!!!!
Here's a message for you boys and girls, while you chose to create a public witch burning to hide your tracks, you forgot a cardinal rule - the witch is a primordial archetype that bends to no-one's will, especially yours. You took her out of the box, now just like Pandora's evils, she can never be imprisoned again.
Now doesn't that just suck for you? You're worried about a paltry 30,000 copies of David Hicks book? Get real, Schapelle's sold over 100,000 copies in the first few months, it's still selling, now translated into six languages, and getting reviews all over the World.
And no offence to David Hicks, who I think won a well deserved victory after his horrific experience (I purchased and read the book), you're not a very beautiful young woman with a story that's a dagger in the heart of many rich, powerful crooks.
So what do you reckon, how many copies of Schapelle's next book will sell? And if the Australian State think it's getting sticky hands on the proceeds of that one, think again. They'll have a ferocious fight on their hands, every fraction of the way.
And one other key point, I'm sure the coming tome will give Australia's politically compromised human rights establishment a hugely deserved (and very large), kick in the arse - yes, Amnesty Australia, Australian Lawyers Alliance and Greens, we're looking at you. The sad fact is, human rights in the Land Down Under stops dead in its tracks at the front door of Macquarie Bank.
